Kerry Airport announced this week that Aer Arann will operate a new, fourth Kerry / Dublin flight every Sunday from 7th of January 2008. This new flight will depart Dublin (RE 259) at 1030am and arrive in Kerry at 1125am; and then depart from Kerry (RE 258) at 1155am, arriving in Dublin at 1255pm.

The new direct flight from Kerry to London Luton, departed Kerry Airport this morning (6th of November, 2007) at 08.25. Wednesday 12th of September, 2007 Today Kerry Airport officially announced that Ryanair will operate a new direct flight from Kerry to London Luton, commencing on the 6th of November, 2007. The service will operate 3 days a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and there is a special introductory fare offer of only €20 return (including taxes and charges). Kerry Airport Becomes First Heartsafe Airport in Ireland
13th August 2007, today Kerry Airport has been awarded the prestigious Heartsafe Community Award by the Irish Heart Foundation, making it the first Heartsafe Airport in Ireland. The Heartsafe certificate, means that Kerry Airport has completed the recommended steps to provide an optimum emergency response system, should someone suffer a sudden cardiac arrest on site. The award acknowledges Kerry Airports commitment to staff training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and in the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
